Writer Wood Textures

I've been playing around with some different wood grain and colour so that I've got a decent reference when I make the final tweaks to the existing wood grain texture that I'm using for the Writer character - here are the front runners so far:

    I like the first one, it's wavy and hair-like. The second looks too straight for that hair-do. Is this what the film is going to look like?

    Hey Mark, I totally agree, the first one is better. Check out my next post for a better idea of how he's going to look in the final shots :)
